Meet the misfits
These are the people who make Camden what it is. Musicians, doormen, dreamers and survivors, all living on the edge of music, crime and ambition.

Reggie Vane
Former frontman of Dead Vicious, a hard rock band that broke beyond Camden in the '90s with tracks like 'Whiskey Angel' and 'Torn Leather Heart.' Now 51, Reggie runs The Vane in the same streets that built him.
He still presents himself like the man he used to be, because it's the only version of himself he fully understands. He's no longer chasing fame, he's trying to hold onto relevance, to stay in control, and to prove that he still matters. And the harder he holds on, the closer he gets to losing everything.

Natasha Vane
Once a regular on the covers of FHM, Nuts, Loaded, and an early Suicide Girl, Natasha was the poster girl of a wild era. Now 47, she still carries that same fire, but behind the lashes and lipstick, there's a woman at war with time.
Married to Reggie for over two decades, Natasha is the maternal force at The Vane, the matriarch of the misfits. She may have been a pin-up, but she's still the toughest person in the room.

Derrick Dawkins
Built like a brick wall and once served in the Parachute Regiment. Of Jamaican British descent, Derrick grew up with Reggie on a tough council estate in North London.
Now President of the Camden Crows MC, Derrick is the last line of defence between the chaos of the streets and the barely contained madness inside. Calm in crisis, deadly when pushed, and the only one who can talk sense into Reggie.

Cove Rainer
A modern-day Hendrix with the soul of North London carved into his fingertips. Raised in the Tottenham estates by a mother who worked two jobs; his older brother Malik is serving a life sentence for a gang murder.
Cove doesn't want a gang flag, he wants a guitar. When he plays, he becomes something bigger than pain, postcode, or poverty. He becomes hope. But hope doesn't last long in Camden.

Nova Rainer
Cove's little sister. A 13-year-old with the self-assured style of someone twice her age and the soul of a rockstar waiting in the wings.
She has a voice that could shatter walls, raw, raspy, and emotionally pure, channelling Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse and Joan Jett. She's not stealing the spotlight. She's going to own it.

Eddie McCrae
A multi-instrumentalist and former session musician who's played with Ozzy Osbourne and Biffy Clyro, and did six wild months on the road with Queens of the Stone Age.
He gave it all up to be a present father, trading stadiums for sticky floors and blown amps, quietly shaping the sound of the next generation.

Rachid "Rax" Zeroual
Charming, immaculately dressed, and calm, a ruthless operator who controls the drug trade across North London with an iron grip and a velvet glove.
He grew up on the same estate as Reggie and Derrick. When Reggie's finances collapsed trying to keep The Vane alive, he turned to the one person he swore he'd never owe. Now The Vane is a front, and Rax always collects.

Lena Dragovic
A fiercely talented Serbian drummer with the soul of a headliner. By day she pulls pints at The Vane; by night she lives for the drum kit.
Constantly reduced to just another pretty face by men who don't know she can outplay most of them blindfolded. She's here to carve her name into music history, beat by beat.

Dylan Knox
Bounced between abusive homes and care systems, Dylan grew up feeling like a mistake no one wanted to keep. Now in his late teens, he works front of house at The Vane and chases punk in the small hours.
Gutsy vocals and chaotic energy, channelling the fury of Black Flag and The Clash. Beneath the studs and snarls is a kid who's never belonged to anything worth holding onto. Until now.
