Reggie organises a major industry showcase at The Vane. Every major label attends. For Reggie, this is redemption. For Cove, it is terrifying, until he walks onto that stage. The performance is unforgettable. A bidding war begins before he has even left the building.
Camden Lock
That same night, Rax gives the order. After leaving the showcase, Cove walks home through Camden with his little sister Nova. At Camden Lock, a group of riders on stolen e-bikes surround them. The attack is sudden and brutal.
The final moments of the season are not loud. They are quiet. Blood mixing with rainwater beside the canal. Sirens in the distance. Nova covered in her brother's blood. Reggie arriving too late.
Cove Rainer was finally becoming something extraordinary. And that is exactly what got him killed.
